The Next Big Adventure!

So, the quick and dirty of this post is I am about to become a full time Yarn Sales Representative. I also no longer work at that certain ubiquitous corporate coffee retailer.

The slightly messy, abbreviated explanation:
I spent years and years toiling over starting my career as an Art Teacher. I did everything by the book and was excessively prepared and qualified and it got me nowhere. So, I spent a year searching for jobs, all sorts of jobs, applying like crazy and getting rejected like crazy. Finally, I decided to throw caution to the wind, hop on a plane, and hit the floor at TNNA looking for a job as a Yarn Rep. I don't know much about it and I made that abundantly clear. Nobody really seemed to care, I landed a massive yarn line immediately. I was so stunned to not be rejected outright that I sweated right through my shirt while smiling like a fool. I think I nearly fainted.

And now I'm getting ready to hit the road as a rep in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. I don't know how this is going to work out? If I'll be able to support myself? Where this will lead? Where I will live? All minor details,  I suppose. It's a big adventure, this is my Wild West.
If you are a yarn rep and have any advice or answers or tips or really anything to share with a newbie, PLEASE get in touch. All others, WISH ME LUCK!
